How to perform an autoscan on a Samsung TV
 
NOTE: The steps to perform this procedure may be different depending on your TV model, even if the menu looks similar. ALWAYS refer to the User's Guide for your specific TV for complete information.  
 
1. With your TV powered on press the source button and select the "TV" source, and then press ENTER.
 
2. Press the MENU button to open the Main Menu.
 
3. Use the ? or ? buttons and select the Channel portion of the Main Menu, and then press ENTER. Important: If you are not on the TV source the Channel portion of the main menu will be inaccessible (grayed out). Note: Antenna will be highlighted by default. Confirm that the antenna selected in set to Cable. If not press ENTER to and use the ? or ? buttons to select Cable and then press ENTER again.
 
4. Use the ? or ? buttons and select Auto Program, and then press ENTER.
 
5. An on-screen guide will appear, Next will be highlighted, press the ENTER button to start the auto programming process.
 
6. Confirm that the Antenna is set for Cable, Use the ? button to select Next, and then press ENTER
 
7. Select STD for the type of signal broadcast for your cable system. When finished use the ? button to select Next, and then press ENTER. 
 
8. The TV will begin to scan for channel, Let the TV complete this process. Note: This process can take 20 minutes or more.
 
9. When finished your TV will display a count of the channel found, press ENTER to exit
